For sure, elves and humans are genetically similar. But there are some distinguishing features:
-- in elven families, long-livers are more common among ancestors.
--greater resistance to disease.
--the eyes are often almond-shaped, all colors, faces - oval or oblong. Facial features are catchy and can be harsh.
--Elves are very fond of nature. They find mutual understanding with animals, plants grow in their presence. It is very rare to find an elf in whose house there would be no pet. Most often, they prefer to have pets.
However, first of all, the elf is distinguished not by appearance, but by its internal content. The elf is self-sufficient. She/He rarely throws her/him to extremes; she/he is looking for a “golden mean” in everything. As a rule, elves love night, but starry, twilight. Among them, “owls” rather than “larks” can predominate.
Relations between humans and elves have always been mixed. It is rather complicated for an elf , therefore she/he chooses the attitude of passive friendliness and complete non-interference in their affairs. But people treat them in two ways: some immediately fall under the charm of an elf and cannot resist it, while others, for reasons incomprehensible to them themselves, begin to hate an elf stranger. “A stream of energy alien to people comes from the elf. Some are located to it and absorb it, , while others are absolutely not disposed. Elves crave only one feeling  from people-- indifference. But people are simply physically unable to remain indifferent to the elves

Elven psychology differs from human one. From a human point of view, an elf may be offended by a completely harmless phrase, and at the same time not respond to a clear insult to herself/himself. She/He often hears people say: "What a strange one." If the elf considers her/his interlocutor unworthy of herself/himself, then communication will not work, she/he can show all her/his arrogance. Elven logic is not like human logic. They will say yes, and then immediately no.  The elf knows how to look at things from many angles at the same time.
In addition, elves, unlike humans, are fatalists. They are not inclined to make a career at work, to fight for a place in the sun, and often people consider them weak-willed. But elves have a different approach to life - they always feel a certain guiding force that leads them through life, and attempts to fight by themselves often end badly.
Regarding marriage, elves consider marriage a precious gift, accepting same-sex marriage in full equality
Elves unconditionally and unquestioningly believe in Divine providence, the beginninglessness and boundlessness of space and time, the blessed nature.
The elven character is prone to magic. Elves have been paranormal since childhood, but they rarely develop their talents — elves are often lazy.   The gift of empathy (perception of someone else’s emotional background), and some by telepathy; gift of foresight; the ability to seem inconspicuous ; love spell; the ability to put an invisible wall between him and the interlocutor; Elves are often clairvoyant. Elves made extensive use of the magic of music. That is why all elves are very musical to this day. With their magical abilities, elves are completely immune to any extraneous suggestion - from hypnosis .
Elves are very emotional and sensitive. They know in advance about the upcoming change in weather or a brewing conflict.
Today, elven communities are very fragmented, the purpose of creating this community is to find someone who shares common memories.
